Are you passionate about bringing characters to life? Ready to dive into the world of stop-motion animation from behind the scenes? Animation Toolkit is on the lookout for energetic and creative interns to join our bustling workshop for a one-month period. This is your chance to get hands-on experience in the magical realm of stop-motion and armature making, plus take part in our “Earn Your Armature” scheme!

 
What You’ll Do:


Assist an Armature Maker: Prep, cut, and size metal parts, then clean them up for assembly. Learn how professional stop-motion puppets are built from the ground up.


Product Prep & Packaging: Help prepare our parts and products for sale—gain real insight into the production pipeline of a thriving animation supplies company.


Assembly & Workshop Support: Assemble armatures, organize inventory, and keep our workshop running like clockwork. Maintain a tidy and inspiring workspace for everyone.


Tea & Coffee Hero: Fuel the creative energy by making sure our team is caffeinated and happy!
 
What You’ll Get:


Earn Your Armature: As part of our special program, every intern earns an Anibild Three Armature and an Anibild Air X&Y Air Winder Rig—perfect for kickstarting your own stop-motion journey.


Hands-On Animation Experience: Learn the ins and outs of armature creation and animation production from industry pros.

Animation Toolkit – Internship Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility & Academic Status

    • Applicants must be currently studying at a college or university, or have graduated/completed their course within the last 12 months.
    • Proof of enrollment or recent graduation may be requested as part of the application process.

  2. Minimum Commitment

    • Successful applicants must commit to at least 2 days per week or a total of 8 days over a one-month period.
    • Specific working days and schedules will be agreed upon before commencement.

  3. Location & Travel

    • The internship takes place at the Animation Toolkit workshop in South Manchester, England.
    • Applicants are responsible for their own travel to and from the workshop.
    • No travel, accommodation, or other expenses will be reimbursed by Animation Toolkit.

  4. Completion & Rewards

    • Interns who successfully complete their agreed internship period (meeting the minimum days/hours required) will be eligible to claim one (1) Anibild Three Armature and one (1) Anibild Air X&Y Air Winder Rig upon completion.
